NT Power is committed to delivering safe and reliable electricity to our customers. As part of our commitment to maintain reliable electricity, we have ongoing maintenance and capital project plans to replace infrastructure that is coming near the end of its useful life.
What To Expect
- Crews working on site will generally only be present during normal business hours, which are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Weekend work will only be performed on an as-needed basis should regular working hours not be sufficient time to complete a specific task.
- During the times when the work is being carried out, general construction activities and noise may be observed for the duration of the project, as well as vehicles and equipment parked on the street.
- Garbage and recycling collection will not be impacted.

Post Project Property Restoration Info
Restoration of sodded ground is scheduled to take place when conditions are most favourable for seeding and we will confirm once reseeding has taken place so that you are able to ensure the fresh seed receives proper care.
After approximately three weeks of growth watering can usually be adjusted to every other day, gradually extending to every three days as the grass matures.
Caring for Newly Seeded Grass
Within the first few weeks, daily watering may be necessary in dry areas or if there is now rain. You will want to be sure that you do not over saturate or flood the area or use high pressure watering tools, as this can cause the seed to rot or to be washed away. After approximately three weeks of growth watering can usually be adjusted to every other day, gradually extending to every three days as the grass matures.
